Hidden Secrets of Ghent: Amazing Street Art!
First things first... #silviehasathingwithstreetart , so I was thrilled to see some cool street art gems.
Of course, you can find some awesome ROA street art, as Ghent is the mysterious artist's hometown.
🎨 "Four Rabbits": definitely 'hidden', but absolutely worth the search (📍 Tempelhof 36)
🎨 "A Hare": a mural inspired by the brothers Van Eyck (📍 Sint-Lucasacademie deeltijdskunstonderwijs)
Around 'Sluizeken', you can find a lot of magnificent murals, only a few steps away from each other:
🎨 "The Traveler" by @asquidcalledsebastian
🎨 "Wizardry Art Thing" by @violant_
🎨 "Niemand Gaat Verloren" by @steppestapt en @letterknecht.be

Ghent has a vibrant scene for jazz and blues bars.
You can find a lot of music lovers and musicians in the city, especially in these beautiful bars:

"Jazz is not just music, it's a way of life, it's a way of being, a way of thinking." – Nina Simone
Hidden Secrets of Ghent: Brilliant Buildings

Hidden Secrets of Ghent: Coffee Bars
When photographing a city, it's always good to know where you can get a caffeine fix! 😉
☕️@madambakster: for coffee AND guiltfree cake! 100% plant based and no added artificial stuff!
☕️@blommm.be: for coffee AND sustainable flowers!
☕️@cafelabath: for coffee AND some artistic vibes.
Hidden Secrets of Ghent: Beautiful Bookstores
Last but not least...
My favorite part of taking pictures for the updated version of The 500 Secrets of Ghent was visiting (and photographing) the bookstores 😍
